We were worried about Christopher's teeth, with all his asthma problems, with all his breathing treatments, no one told us we needed to rinse his mouth out after each treatment. But despite it all, he has good teeth and he learned all about how to keep them clean!
They both have all their teeth and let's hope they won't need braces! At least we have years to save for that! And now? Bring on the Easter Candy!!!

The rinsing after using inhaled steroids also helps prevent oral thrush (yeast infection in the mouth).
I am so glad they did so well at the dentist - what a lovely blankie to keep Thomas company, too.
And good job to Mom for keeping up on the brushing, too. It can be tough to get those kiddos teeth brushed twice a day every day.
Mine see the dentist tomorrow. Never a fun trip :(
Promises of lots of wonderful things to come are in store for my kids :)
According to the Academy of General Dentistry, over 20 million Americans have asthma - which is very alarming on the part of dentists. Always remember to bring Christopher's inhaler every dental visit. Many patients tend to forget that.
Yay. Hope it keeps up. I do think that good teeth are genetic. My grandmom had good teeth and I inherited that trait. It will save a lot of money.

That’s great! His strong and healthy teeth only show that your kid has a very healthy dental habit. Playing with a plush toy like that can be good practice to help ease the anxious kids with regards to having their teeth checked and cleaned, or operated on, by the dentist.
Good job to Thomas and Christian! Taking care of the teeth can be quite a challenge, especially if one hasn’t adapted the habit of cleaning them regularly. It's a good thing that you are knitting it to your kids' habits while they are still young. In that way, you are teaching them the importance of good oral health early on. They will surely carry this when they grow older. Keep it up!
