Born and raised in So Cal, decided to head my way North for college...and I lived in the Presidio in San Francisco for almost 6 years! I. LOVED. EVERY. MINUTE!
I miss it, it truly is an amazing city.
So on our very first trip away from the boys....I'm probably at this very minute having a panic attack....but I'm sure they will be fine with Grandma....right? I mean she does keep telling me and I quote her..."I have done this before you know" ...Yeah...right...ummm....right!
Okay but don't forget to read a story before bed, and say prayers....and make sure they mind their P&Q's. And, and, and..... "I have done this before....TWICE"
Oh right...I know Mom....umm...right! Just don't forget! And then she proceeds to kick me out the door! =)
(And I know she is laughing at this post right now)
So we are off....for 4 glorious days in the city by the Bay! We have a ton of fun touristy stuff planned. And I get to see one of my Besties, Brooke!!
I'll have plenty of pics and a whole lot of updates when we get back!

AWESOME!!! Sounds like fun and I am terribly jealous! My "man" is as we speak headed to SoCal for a week with his friends & family. He moved across country 5 years ago and hasn't been back since...I wish I was ther with him now! :-) Then maybe we could have arranged a "meetup".
Have fun and remember - your kiddos are truly just fine in Grandma's care.
Bwaahaha, I remember the first time I left my daughter when she was about 6 months old in the care of my mother in law (who is amazing and wonderful in every way possible). I left a four page letter telling her what to do and how to do it. She just smiled and read over the notes and said thanks. I feel like such an idiot for putting her through all of that.
The kids ARE ALRIGHT!! Just relax and enjoy yourself!
I've only been to San Francisco once, and just for 3 days, but I absolutely loved it. Have an awesome time.

Have fun! I don't know how long since you've changed your blog, but I like it. The new look is refreshing. We left SFO yesterday for our vacation in MI. Not the same....:-)

And, I know why you are nervous..despite them "doing it before" they never did with their grandkids..and that's always a little different. But, nobody loves them quite like grandma.
