While we were hiking around near Ft. Point in San Francisco, out of the corner of my eye I saw the bushes move. I look over and I saw several of these little guys.

I don't know what kind of birds they are, but this "bushes" they are eating off of, are no more than weeds....and these little guys were all hanging upside down enjoying lunch.

There is no zoom on them, we really were this close and they didn't seem to mind!

I guess they must be used to all the people wandering around taking pictures....and I am sure not many people even notice them, but we did and they didn't mind us being so close or taking pictures.

OMG! I love, love, love the pics.
Happy Wednesday!!
That is amazing that you could get that close and those pics are just gorgeous! I think the birds around here are camera shy cause it is nearly impossible to get a good pic!
That is too cute :) Wow, I must say that those birds look pretty plump! At least you know they're well fed! Even if it's just from weeds :)
Cool shots! That is amazing that he is upside down! :D
If I was hungry enough, I'd hang upside down too!

Delightful.
I just love nature photos. Those birds are gorgeous!
Great photos. I find birds to be rather tough to photograph. I have a couple of cool bird photos to post soon. Thanks for the reminder.
