Happy Birthday Baby!

Our First Meeting....WAY too soon! Mommy was miserable, and if I had known the problems you were going to have by having you that soon, I would have insisted that they wait! You were 6 weeks early, and you came anyway, and this is our very 1st photo. Because you came so early, we didn't even have a camera with us, so the drug man had to take our pic on his phone! I was thrilled to hear you cry....my baby boy....my 2nd little bundle of joy, I loved you already, but man was I glad to have you out from under my ribs!!!


And then you ended up here....the NICU some 30 miles away from where Mommy was...I was scared, and worried, and heart broken that I couldn't be with you to comfort you and let you know that your mommy loved you more than life itself!


And then FINALLY, 4 days later, mommy got to hold you for the first time! I wanted to take you home right away! But they made you stay! But only for another day....
And then you came home....my adorable little bundle of joy!

And today....my beautiful 2nd born son....yet another love of my life! I can't believe how much you have grown, how much you've been through, how wonderful you are. Your smile that you don't give away cheap....your laugh that touches my very soul....you, my baby boy, a part of me...I love you more than life itself....I will be here for you always, to nuture and to love and to help you grow and learn, I will love you unconditionally!
